Key strengths of Kill
- Real-player hits depend on detectives, city tracking and timing windows
- Damage uses weapons, bullets, magazines, kill skill, rank and account balance
- Targets can be protected by safehouses, recovery states and temporary shot protection
- Successful hits can damage, put someone in coma or end in death and loot
Pentito makes you earn the shot before you fire it
You cannot freely hit anyone at any time. Pentito expects your detectives to be actively tracking the target first, and even then the target can slip out of view, hide in a safehouse, sit under beginner or recovery protection or simply be unavailable because someone else is already on them.
The system also forces same-city execution. That makes hits feel like planned local pressure instead of a global sniper button that ignores movement and timing.
Damage is built from real equipment and matchup pressure
Pentito calculates hit damage from the weapons you actually carry and the bullets you really spend. Magazine allowance, bullet split between handgun and machine gun, dual-weapon usage, weapon condition and pending bullet damage all feed into the attack before skill and balance modifiers are applied.
After that, the shot still has to pass through the defender. Vest mitigation, accommodation protection, pocket watch reduction, defense points, rank difference, kill skill, inactivity effects and broader account-strength balance all push the result up or down. That is why a hit feels like an encounter between two builds, not one flat percentage roll.
A strong hit changes more than just health
If the defender drops low enough, Pentito does not always jump straight to permanent death. A real hit can end in raw damage, coma or death depending on the state transition that succeeds, and a serious result can also strip items, move cash, cancel activities and remove detective tracking.
Even outside the victim's health bar, hits leave marks. Pentito can damage or destroy accommodation protection, trigger alerts to the victim and their family and create instant revenge pressure because everyone knows a failed or successful hit can pull the next shot back in your direction.
Kill Frequently Asked Questions
It is Pentito's high-risk PvP hit system. You track a target with detectives, catch them in the same city and try to break through their defenses with your current weapons, bullets and build.
A target can be protected by safehouse hiding, beginner or coma recovery protection, Boss Assault protection, shot cooldowns and same-city restrictions. If the shot goes through, vests, accommodation protection, defense points and special items can still reduce the damage.
Depending on the result, the target can take damage, fall into coma or die outright. Strong hits can also loot items, move part of the victim's cash, damage the accommodation and wipe active tracking and activities around that character.
