This is where you stop getting your own hands dirty and let hired muscle earn for you.
You spend Street Muscle credits to bring operators onto your payroll. Once hired, they run their jobs automatically while you’re doing other business in the city. They work, you collect.
You’ve got different specialists on the menu.
The Wheelman is your car thief, always hunting for fresh wheels.
The Enforcer handles crime work, putting pressure on the streets.
The Rum Runner moves liquor and keeps the hooch flowing.
The Street Pusher deals dope and turns drugs into profit.
Each hire costs one credit. Once they’re on your crew, they burn through those credits by running jobs on their own. Their card shows how many actions they’ve done and how many credits they’ve got left. When they’re out of credits, they stop, but they stay on your payroll until you cut them loose.
Your operators can be Active, Paused, Out of Credits, or in Jail.
Active means they’re grinding for you.
Paused means they wait until you tell them to move again.
Out of Credits means no more actions until you pay them more.
In Jail means they got grabbed and you can either wait it out or pay bail to get them back on the street.
You can throw them a bonus to keep them loyal or motivate them. You can pause or resume each one individually, or use the buttons at the top to pause all, resume all, or fire the whole crew if you want to start fresh.
Every operator keeps a small activity log. You can expand it to see what they did, what type of job it was, if it failed or succeeded, what they stole, and how much cash they burned or made.
New talent sits at the bottom of the page. Each category shows the available Wheelmen, Enforcers, Rum Runners, and Street Pushers, with their specialty and the hire cost. Hit Bring On to recruit them and they join your crew immediately.
Important rule: as long as you have Street Muscle working in a category, you can’t run those same jobs manually yourself. If your Enforcer is handling crimes, you step back. If your Wheelman is stealing cars, you let him. To take back direct control of crimes, car thefts, or smuggling, you must cut your muscle loose first, even if they have no credits left.
Even if you end up in a coma, your hired muscle keeps moving, just slower and less efficient without your leadership. They still work, but they’re not at full strength until you wake up again.
What are Street Muscle credits?
Credits are your hiring currency for muscle. Each operator costs one credit to hire. Once hired, they use up their credits by running automatic jobs for you.
Do Street Muscles work automatically?
Yes. After hiring, they act on their own. They run crimes, thefts, or smuggling depending on their role, and their results show up in their activity log.
Why can’t I do crimes, car thefts, or smuggling myself?
If you’ve got muscle assigned to those jobs, they own that lane. You can’t manually run the same actions until you cut them loose. This rule applies even when they have no credits left.
What happens when an operator is Out of Credits?
They stop running new jobs, but they remain on your crew. You can pay a bonus to give them more credits (depending on how the system is set up) or cut them loose to free the slot and your own manual actions.
What does Pause do?
Pause tells your operator to stop working without firing them. They keep their remaining credits but run no new jobs until you hit Resume.
What does Resume do?
Resume wakes the operator back up after a pause. If they still have credits and are not in jail, they start running jobs again on their own.
What does Cut Loose do?
Cut Loose fires that operator permanently. They stop working, leave your crew, and you free yourself to run those jobs manually again. There’s no undo, so if you want them back, you’ll need to hire another one.
Why is my muscle in jail?
Sometimes a job goes sideways and the operator gets picked up. While in jail they can’t work. You can either wait for the timer to run out or pay the Bail Out cost to get them back on the street faster.
What does the Bail Out button do?
Bail Out spends your money to free that operator immediately or much faster, depending on the system rules. Once bailed, they go back to their normal status and can resume work.
What is the status bar on each operator?
It shows whether they are Active, Paused, Out of Credits, or In Jail. It may also show a travelcooldown if they need time before they can move again for certain jobs.
Why can’t I hire more muscle?
You might be out of credits, or you may have hit your limit on how many operators you can have. You may need to cut loose some existing muscle or earn more credits.
What is the activity log for?
The activity log shows what each operator has done: the time, type of job, success or failure, what they stole, and how much money was made or spent. It’s your paper trail to see who’s pulling their weight.
Do Street Muscles still work when I’m in a coma?
Yes, but they’re less efficient without you running the show. They continue to operate at reduced performance until you’re back on your feet.
