Smuggling

This is where you stop being a street hustler and start running real product.

On top, the page sizes you up: how much cash you are carrying, how much space you have left, and whether anyone is even willing to sell to you. If you are brand new, the game tells you straight: no big deals yet, kid. Prove yourself first, then the doors open.

Your stash is split in two lines of business: booze and narcotics. Each has its own limit, its own cooldown, and its own crew.

Booze and narcotics
Booze is the entry-level hustle. Crates of liquor, rum, whiskey, all the good stuff. If your booze limit is zero, you are either hard capped right now or you filled every last rack you own. The page will tell you if your lockers are stuffed and you need to move some stock before you buy more.

Narcotics are a different story. Heavy heat, serious profit, and not for fresh faces. If your drugs limit is zero because of rank, the game blocks the narcotics section and warns you, you need to hit rank Snatcher before anyone trusts you with that kind of poison. Until then, you are stuck on booze only.

Every section has its own remaining space: how many units you can still bring in. If both booze and narcotics are maxed out, the page literally tells you to quit sniffing around for more and start selling.

City markets
All of this is tied to the city you are standing in. Some products simply are not sold where you are. When that happens, the card for that product tells you it is not available in this city and you cannot buy it here, no matter how rich you are.

Under each product, you see market intel: different cities with different prices. Some cities pay top dollar, some pay scraps. The game highlights high and low prices so you can see where the real profit sits. Your current city is marked to show you whether you are getting robbed or getting rich.

Buying and selling
Every product card shows:

  • The unit price in your current city
  • How many units are available here
  • How many you own

When you buy, the game checks everything at once: your remaining capacity for that type, the cash in your pocket, the local stock, and whether you are allowed to trade that product at all. The amount field is automatically set to the maximum that fits your limit and your wallet, but you can type a lower number if you want to play it safe.

Selling is simpler. If you own units, you can sell them as long as you are not locked out by your smuggler automation. You choose how many units to unload and the game pays you based on the current price in that city.

Cooldowns
Each line of business has its own cooldown. When you see a cooldown badge on the header, it means you recently ran a smuggle job in that category and the street needs to cool off.

During cooldown, you cannot buy more of that type, even if your stash is not full yet. You can still sell what you already own. The page will show how many minutes are left before you can start loading up again.

Smugglers and automation
If you have a Street Muscle smuggler assigned to booze or narcotics, that section locks up for manual work. The headers show that a smuggler is active, and the product grid turns grey and unresponsive.

An overlay appears with the smuggler’s face and name, telling you they are already on the job. Clicking that overlay takes you to your Street Muscle page, where you can manage the crew, cut them loose, or change your setup.

As long as a smuggler is active for booze or narcotics, you cannot manually buy or sell in that category on this page. They run your routes for you until you decide otherwise.

Street Muscle suggestions
If you do not have a smuggler on one or both lines, the page drops small hints about hiring one. Those lines are there to remind you that you can offload the grind: bring in a pro smuggler and let them move your goods while you focus on other rackets.

FAQ

How do smuggling limits work?
You have separate limits for booze and narcotics. Each limit is the maximum number of units you can hold at once for that category. When a limit hits zero remaining, you cannot buy more in that category until you sell some of your stash or expand your capacity.

Why does it say I am too green for deals?
If both booze and narcotics limits are zero from the start, it means you have not unlocked smuggling yet. You need more progress in the game before anyone trusts you with bulk product. Until then, no large-scale shipments for you.

Why can I not buy more even though I see products?
There are several reasons:

  • Your remaining space for that category is zero.
  • You do not have enough cash for even one unit at the current price.
  • There is an active cooldown for that type of smuggling.
  • A smuggler from Street Muscle is already handling that business.
  • That product is not sold in your current city

The product card usually explains which situation you are in.

Why is the narcotics section locked?
The narcotics trade stays locked until you reach rank Snatcher. Until you hit that rank, you can look, but you do not touch. No narcotics buying, no narcotics selling.

What does the cooldown timer mean?
After a smuggle run, the streets get hot. The cooldown timer shows how long before you can buy more of that category again. While the timer is counting down, you cannot buy new units of that type but you can still sell whatever you already own.

What does “Smuggler Active” mean?
Smuggler Active means you have a Street Muscle smuggler assigned to that line of work. They are already running your routes, so manual buy and sell actions for that category are disabled on this page. To change anything, you need to visit the Street Muscle page and manage your crew there.

Can I still sell my goods if a smuggler is active?
No. When a smuggler is active for booze or narcotics, the whole section for that category is locked for manual actions. If you want to buy or sell yourself again, you need to cut the smuggler loose or change your setup in Street Muscle.

Do prices change between cities?
Yes. Each city has its own black market prices. Some places buy high, others low. The intel under each product shows what different cities are paying, so you can see where it is worth hauling your product and where it is better to keep it in the trunk.

Does my money on hand matter?
Yes. Every purchase is paid with the cash you are carrying. If you do not have enough to afford at least one unit at the current price, the Buy option will be disabled and you might see a hint telling you to come back with more money.

Does hiring a smuggler change my limits?
The limits themselves do not change here. A smuggler only changes how the work is done: automated runs instead of manual buys and sells. Your capacity and stash rules still apply behind the scenes.
