This corner of the lockup is where you decide how loud, flashy, or quiet your jail business runs. Same jail, same cells, but the way your moves show up on screen is all up to you.
You still have the same tabs on top: Jail and Settings. Jail shows the prisoners and lets you bust or bail them. Settings is this page, where you fine-tune how those actions look and sound to everyone involved.
First you see any status messages. Whenever you change something here, the game drops a short line at the top so you know your switches actually stuck.
After that, there are three blocks: Bust Messages, Jail Modals, and Bail Confirmation.
Bust Messages
Bust messages are your victory posters in the yard. When they are on, every successful breakout you perform sends a message to everyone you freed. They see exactly who pulled the strings and who got them out of the can. It is a good way to build a name, remind the block who is running favors, and score some reputation with the right people.
When bust messages are off, your jailbreaks run quiet. People still get out, but they do not see a public shout with your name on it. Less glory, less noise, a little less heat.
The page gives you two buttons: Bust Messages On and Bust Messages Off. The active option is highlighted in green so you always know what you are currently running.
Jail Modals
Jail modals control how the result of a breakout or bail shows up on your screen.
With modals on, every jail action pops up as a full-screen style overlay. You get a focused result: success, failure, bail paid, consequences. It is theatrical, front and center, and hard to miss.
With modals off, the game keeps things lighter. Results arrive as smaller notifications instead of big overlays. The information is still there, but it stays out of your way while you keep working other pages.
Again you have two buttons: Modals On and Modals Off. The current choice shows as active in green.
Bail Confirmation
Bail confirmation decides whether the game asks “you sure about this?” before it takes your money.
With confirmation on, hitting a bail button in the Jail tab uses a two-step flow. First click arms the bail, second click confirms it. This avoids accidental bailouts when you are tired, misclicking, or moving too fast.
With confirmation off, bail is instant. One click, cash gone, prisoner free. No extra question, no second chance.
Just like the other sections, you choose between Confirmation On and Confirmation Off. The active one is highlighted so you know whether you are running safe mode or fast mode for your wallet.
FAQ
What are Bust Messages exactly?
Bust messages are short announcements sent to the inmates you successfully break out of jail. They tell the freed target who did the busting, so your name and actions stay attached to the rescue.
What happens when I turn Bust Messages off?
When Bust Messages are off, jailbreaks still work normally, but the freed prisoners do not receive that extra “you were busted out by this player” announcement. You stay in the shadows instead of showing your hand.
Do Bust Messages change my odds or rewards?
No. They only change how information is shown. Success chances, risks, and payouts are unaffected. It is strictly about visibility and flavor.
What do Jail Modals change?
Jail Modals decide how the results of breakout and bail actions are presented. With modals on, you get a large, dedicated result view. With modals off, you see smaller, less intrusive notifications instead.
Why would I disable Jail Modals?
You might turn them off if you prefer a faster, less blocking experience, especially when you are running a lot of jail actions or playing on a smaller screen. Notifications let you keep moving without full-screen popups.
Does turning off Jail Modals hide information?
No. You still see the result of every action. The format changes, but the outcome text and key details are still delivered to you.
If I turn Bail Confirmation off, can I undo a misclick?
No. With confirmation off, bail triggers immediately. Once the money is spent and the prisoner is free, there is no undo. That is why this toggle exists in the first place.
Do these settings affect all my jail actions everywhere?
Yes. Bust Messages, Jail Modals, and Bail Confirmation apply to your own jail operations across the game. Once you flip a switch here, your future jail interactions use those preferences until you change them again.
Do any of these settings change what other players can do to me?
No. Other players can still bust you out or bail you if the rules allow it. These options only control how your own actions and your own interface behave, not what others are allowed to do.
