Blackjack

You’re sitting at a smoky Blackjack table in the corner of the Pentito casino. Your goal is simple: get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over.

On this page you place your bet, get your cards, and decide whether you want to hit, stand, double or split. The dealer shows one open card and keeps one hidden until the hand is over. When the hand is finished, the result and your profit or loss are shown on the table, and you can jump straight into the next round.

All bets and payouts use your regular Pentito balance. The limits under the bet box show the minimum and maximum bet for this specific Blackjack table. Your personal Blackjack statistics at the bottom of the page keep track of how many games you’ve played, your win rate, and your total net winnings at this table.

Game explanation
A hand starts when you enter a bet amount and hit “Start Game”. You receive two cards face up, the dealer gets two cards with one hidden. The “Total” under your cards shows the current value of your hand.

Hit adds a new card to your current hand. You can keep hitting until you stand or you go over 21. If you go over 21, you bust and lose that hand immediately.

Stand locks in your current total. Once you stand on all your hands, the dealer reveals their hidden card and draws until the dealer’s hand reaches the table rules. The code then compares your totals against the dealer and pays or takes your bet.

Double is available only in specific situations (for example early in the hand and if you have enough balance). When you double, your bet is doubled, you receive exactly one extra card, and then you automatically stand. High risk, high reward.

Split appears when your first two cards have the same value and you have enough money for a second bet. The pair is split into two separate hands, each with its own bet equal to the original. You then play each hand one by one. The yellow outline shows which hand is currently active.

If you hit 21 with your first two cards, that’s Blackjack. The result line on this page will clearly call out Blackjack when it happens.
