This page is your social ledger. Here you manage the people you actually trust in the city, the ones you do jobs with, and the ones you keep an eye on. The top tabs switch between your current friends, all pending requests, and the invite-a-friend flow, where you pull fresh meat into Pentito.
On the main friends tab you see three things happening. First, at the top you can send a new friend request by typing a username and hitting the button. Below that you get a quick summary of how many friends you have and how many of them are online right now. Under that, the friend cards show each contact: name, status (online/offline/custom), their city or location, how many shared operations you’ve done together, and their “speciality” text. Close friends are visually highlighted with a golden frame and label so you can instantly see who your inner circle is. Clicking a card opens that player’s profile, while the small red button under the card lets you quietly end the friendship without going through a profile first.
The page also tries to tell you how active someone is. Besides the basic online/offline badge, some cards show how long a friend has been offline. That makes it easier to see who is still playing and who is basically a ghost. The whole block scrolls if you have a lot of contacts, turning this into a compact roster of people you can call for jobs, protection, or trouble.
FAQ
If I remove a friend, what happens in-game?
Removing someone only cuts the friend link and visibility on this page. They disappear from your friends list and any “friend” indicators, but it does not undo past operations, crimes or history. In a city like this, you can delete the connection from the UI, but people might still remember what you’ve done together.
What does “Shared operations” actually mean?
Shared operations is a rough score of how much you’ve done together: crimes, jobs, actions where both of you were involved. A higher number means this person isn’t just in your list; they’ve actually stood next to you when things got risky.
