This corner of the city is where crew jobs get planned, armed and pushed out the door.
You pick a target, line up a driver, add shooters if you trust anyone that much and make sure everyone brings the right toys. The page shows your current city, a short description of the kind of job you are about to run and how many crew jobs you already pulled off today, this week and this month.
Every job target comes with its own briefing. You see what kind of smash and grab you are dealing with, how many people you really need, how many are recommended, how many you can squeeze in at most and whether the job needs C4 to even get started. Setup notes break things down further into short cards so you know exactly what you are walking into before the car even starts.
From there you either join an existing crew job or build your own. You can answer invites, get marked as waiting for the leader, pick a machine gun and bullets, or if you are the driver, choose the getaway car. Leaders can also invite more gangsters straight from their friends list, manage the crew, save the loadout and eventually hit the button that starts the job. If you are in recovery or some coma-related trouble, a warning can show up on this page to remind you that you are not exactly in peak shape for high-risk work.
The little question mark icon next to the page title opens a separate crew job FAQ screen for extra details, but this page already gives you everything you need to get a job ready to roll.
FAQ
What is this page for?
This page is the control room for crew jobs. You choose a target, prepare your gear and car, invite a driver and shooters, accept or decline job invites and see short stats for how many crew jobs you ran today, this week and this month in the current city.
What is a crew job target?
A crew job target is the kind of hit you are setting up. For each target you see a label, a description, any risk note, the minimum, recommended and maximum crew size. Some targets also show extra setup notes in separate cards to explain special rules or tips for that job.
Who can change the crew job target?
The crew leader calls the shots. The target can only be changed by the leader, or by a player who is not yet in a job, has no invite and has not accepted anything. Once a crew job is in motion, the target is locked in for everyone else.
What do minimum, recommended and max crew mean?
Minimum crew is the smallest number of people the job needs to even make sense. Recommended is the sweet spot the job is tuned for. Max crew is the hard limit on how many people can be in the car and on the job. You see all three in a compact box on the right side of the target details.
What does it mean when a job requires C4?
Some targets need explosives. When a target requires C4, the details box shows a red C4 line with a bomb icon. The leader is responsible for supplying that charge. If they still need to buy it, they see a panel explaining the price and a button to purchase. Once the leader has the C4, the panel switches to a green confirmation. Other crew members simply see whether the leader is ready or not.
What roles are there in a crew job?
There are three unique roles on this page, leader, driver and shooters. The leader manages the job, can start or cancel it, invite and kick people and, when needed, handle C4. The driver brings the getaway car and a weapon with bullets. Shooters are optional extra firepower, joining with machine guns and their own bullets.
How do I invite a driver and shooters?
If you have invite slots left and are not blocked by cooldown, you see an invite form. First you can invite a driver, using a text field with a dropdown of your friends. Then you can invite up to two optional shooters, each with their own name field and friend dropdown. Any problems with the names you entered are shown as error messages under the relevant field.
What if all shooter slots are filled?
When there are no shooter slots left, the page shows a short notice instead of the shooter invite fields saying that all shooter slots are currently filled. You will not be able to add more shooters until someone leaves or you set up a different job.
What is the driver responsible for?
The driver needs to meet the minimum rank for the job, have a crew-ready or home car in the current city, equip a weapon and bring bullets before the crew rolls out. Without a driver with a suitable car, the crew does not move. That is why the briefing explicitly tells you to get a driver in first.
What do shooters do?
Shooters join as extra firepower. They bring a machine gun, choose how many bullets to load, up to the magazine capacity and commit those bullets to the job. Once the job starts, the bullets are spent, so shooters are expected to stock up before they signal they are ready.
How does the getaway car selection work?
If your role is driver, you see your available crew cars for this city. Each car card shows the make and model, an image, top speed, seats and condition. Some cars may also be marked as accommodation. You pick one car, and that becomes the getaway vehicle for the job.
What does “Waiting for Leader” mean?
If you have accepted the job but the leader has not started it yet, you are placed in a Waiting for Leader state. In that state the page shows your selected weapon and bullets and, if you are the driver with a car picked, your car details. You also see a button that lets you leave the job if you decide you do not want to stick around.
What are Jobs Today, This Week and This Month?
These three small panels show how many crew jobs you completed in the current city today, this week and this month. It is a quick way to see how active you have been without digging through logs.
What is the participants list for?
When you are the leader and the job has accepted participants, you see a Participants section. It lists every other member, their role, state, weapon and bullets if they have set them and their current city. Drivers also show their car image and details. From this list, leaders can kick individual players if needed.
Can I leave or cancel a job?
Yes. Non-leaders can leave the job using the Leave Job button. Leaders can cancel the entire job from their action buttons. Depending on your state and role, you either see Accept, Decline, Ready, Leave Job, Start Job, Save Loadout or Cancel Job buttons.
Why do I sometimes see a coma or recovery warning here?
If your character is recovering from a coma or in some restricted state, this page can include a recovery warning. It is there to remind you that certain actions may be limited or that you might not be in condition to run a high-risk crew job at full strength.
