This page handles everything about moving your money around: stashing profit, pulling cash back out, wiring money to friends and throwing a cut into the family vault.
Every option has its own friction, tax, cooldown or cost, but the rules are always the same: the Bank doesn’t lose money unless you tell it to.

At the top you see two things that matter most: how much cash you’re carrying and how much you’ve tucked away in the bank. Cash in hand pays for bullets, cars, bribes and bad ideas. Bank balance is safer, used for transfers, family support and anything that needs a paper trail the city will pretend not to notice.

Deposit & withdraw
On the left you move cash from your pocket into the vault. You type an amount, hit deposit and the money leaves your hand and lands in the bank balance. If you’re lazy or just got paid from a big score, there’s a “deposit all” option that sweeps every last dollar off you. On the right you do the reverse: pull money back out of the bank into your hands. You can withdraw a precise amount for a job, or hit “withdraw all” if you’re about to go shopping, gambling or into something you don’t plan to survive. If you’re broke on one side, the buttons grey out and the bank reminds you you’re dreaming.

Transfers to other gangsters
The transfer section turns the bank into a messenger. You pick a recipient by typing their name or clicking them from your friends list. You set an amount, optionally add a short note like “cut from the heist”, and send. The money is taken from your bank balance, not from your pockets, and arrives directly in the other player’s bank. Every transfer pays a tax to the “authorities”, twenty percent of the transfer amount disappears into nothing. Neither you nor the recipient see that cut again. It’s the city’s way of reminding you that nothing moves for free.

Family bank
If you’re in a family and allowed to use the family bank, this page shows the crew’s shared balance and your rank inside the organization. You can send money from your own bank straight into the family pool. Just like personal transfers, family deposits are taxed: twenty percent vanishes, eighty percent arrives in the family account. The screen makes that clear so nobody cries when their numbers don’t match what they typed. This is where crews fund war chests, pay for ammo, reward loyal members or keep a rainy-day stack for when everything goes wrong at once.

History & transaction logs
The bottom half of the page is the paper trail for everything you and your money have done. On one side you see received transfers: who sent you cash, how much, when, and any message they added. On the other side you see sent transfers: who you paid, how much walked out of your account and why. Each entry shows date and time so you can track cuts from heists, loan repayments, bribes or quiet gifts to friends who kept their mouth shut.

If you’re in a family with shared funds, an extra block shows family transactions. Deposits, withdrawals, internal splits and transfers all show up here with colour-coded amounts and labels telling you what happened: who put money in, who took it out, when the family split a big pot and when the system itself stepped in. It’s not exactly an audit, but it’s enough to see who’s feeding the family and who’s just eating.

Taken together, the bank page is where you stop thinking like a street thug and start thinking like an accountant with trust issues. Cash in hand keeps you moving. Bank balance keeps you in the game.

FAQ

Can anyone steal cash from my bank balance?
Not a chance. Bank money is sealed away. If something disappears from your bank, it’s because you withdrew it or sent it somewhere.

Is cash in hand still lootable?
Always. Anything in your pockets is fair game. If someone hits you at the wrong moment, whatever you’re carrying is part of their payday.

Are transfers safe from interception?
Yes. When you send money to another gangster, the transfer jumps straight from your bank to theirs. The tax gets burned on the way, but the rest is untouchable.

Why does sending money cost a tax?
That’s the city’s cut. Twenty percent vanishes into the void. Think of it as a quiet bribe to keep the peace.

Where does family bank money go?
Into a vault even deeper than yours. Only family members with the right rank can take anything out. Outsiders don’t get within ten blocks of it.

Can family money be stolen in attacks?
No. Family vaults don’t open for gunfire, explosions or bad intentions. Only the family can move it.
