The ammo market is where you turn money into bullets and, if you’re desperate enough, bullets back into pocket change.
At the top you see four hard facts: how many bullets the city still has in stock, what one bullet costs to buy, what the dealer pays you per bullet if you sell, and how many bullets you’re already carrying. The left side is all about filling up: you type how many bullets you want, the page shows the total price and checks that you’re not asking more than the city has or more than you can afford. If there’s a cooldown running, the whole buy block fades out, the input is disabled and a small line explains why you can’t buy right now. The right side is the pawnshop corner: you choose how many of your own bullets to dump, see exactly what you’ll get for them and get one last warning that selling ammo is bad business unless you really need the cash.

What do the numbers at the top of the page actually show?
The first number is how many bullets are available in this city’s market. The second is the current buy price per bullet, the third is the sell price per bullet and the last one shows how many bullets you personally own.
Does the ammo market use my bank balance or only cash on hand?
Buying ammo always uses your cash on hand. The “Cash on Hand” line under the buy form is the only money that counts here. If that number is too low, you cannot buy the amount you entered, even if your bank is full.
Why can’t I buy ammo right now? The buy side looks disabled.
When the ammo market is on cooldown, the buy card goes semi-transparent, the input is locked and the buy button is hidden. A short message explains the cooldown so you know you have to wait before you can make another purchase.
Why is there a limit on how many bullets I can enter in the buy field?
The maximum buy amount is capped by two things: how many bullets the city still has in stock and how many you can afford with your current cash on hand. The field will not let you ask for more bullets than that combined limit.
Does selling ammo also have a cooldown?
No. Selling ammo does not use the same cooldown as buying. As long as you still have bullets left, you can sell them through this screen without waiting for a timer.
Why do I get so little money per bullet when I sell?
The sell price per bullet is deliberately low compared to the buy price. This page is designed as an emergency exit when you need fast cash, not as a way to profit from ammo trading. The warning under the sell form reminds you that you are taking a bad deal on purpose.
